Bondfast Tylmax TM04 is a high-performance, polymer-modified cement-based tile adhesive specially designed for fixing large format tiles, glass mosaic tiles, vitrified tiles, porcelain tiles, natural stones, marble slabs, thin/slim tiles, brick tiles, basalt, pavers, and more.

It is also ideal for installation on drywall surfaces like gypsum boards, plywood, MDF boards, fiber cement boards, and bison panels.

Engineered for internal and external walls & floors, TM04 delivers superior adhesion, excellent flexibility, and reliable performance in wet, high-temperature, and heavy-duty conditions.

Method of Application

1. Surface Preparation

o Ensure substrate is rigid, level, and free from dust, oil or loose particles.

o Check for hollowness before tiling.

2. Mixing

o Add powder to clean water (recommended ratio below).

o Mix with a trowel or slow-speed drill (50–100 rpm).

o Let the mixture rest for 5 minutes and remix.

Application

o Spread adhesive using a notched trowel (3–12 mm).

o Apply only the area that can be tiled within the open time (approx. 40 mins).

o Press tiles firmly, ensuring 100% contact.

Setting & Grouting

o Allow 24 hours before light foot traffic or grouting.
